Hi! I'm Mary-Anne. I was born and raised in Milford, CT. I come from large, Catholic, honorable family. I have 2 grown daughters, 21 and 25 yrs old. I am employed as a worker's comp case management nurse. For the most part I like my job. However, in my line of business, I am reminded daily of the abuse of benefits such as compensation and the number folks who are milking the system. Many have the same mentality as those who abuse welfare, medicaid and unemployment. They want something without working for it. There's no denying that there are a significant number of legitimate, serious work injuries and terrible tragedies. However, there are also a significant number of frauds. Anyhoooo...because of my job and since prior to the election in 2008, I have been rabidly reading everything I can get my hands on and watching Fox News faithfully. I have become much more learned about what is currently going on... and I don't like it one bit. I am a fiscal conservative who believes in God and am disgusted with what is happening to this great country of ours. I would enjoy getting more involved in the 2012 election and would love to meet a like-minded man who would hopefully join me in my efforts to get this president out in 2012 and get more republicans into office. Linda McMahon recently announced she is running for Joe Lieberman's Senate seat and her campaign may be a good starting point. I have a passion for my country and feel the need to be more actively involved. It would be a great way to get to know each other and at the same time, try to make a difference. If it evolves into something more, that would be great! If we remain just good friends, that would also be great! I'm not good at writing these things, so, should you want to know anything more about me all you have to do is ask!
